What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Auditor/Inspector position at F&C?
Responsibilities:
Acts as liaison and correspondent to third party inspection agencies.
· Ensures the calibrations of instruments on the shop floor are up to date.
· Performs regular and rotating audits of production material, machines, processes, documentation, instruments, and people. Documents findings and solutions for follow-up.
· Performs training to employees needing refresh or update on work instruction details.
· Solves problems collaboratively with Operations employees and supervisors in each area.
· Performs WIP and finished good inventory inspections, minor rework and relabeling activities, and provides documentation of product issues and coordinates with quality, supply chain, and operations to repair or scrap material.
Assists in calibration, repeatability, and capability studies of automatic UT and ET systems.
· Maintains or assists the maintenance department in the maintenance of all quality control equipment.
Qualitifications:
Must have at least 4 years of experience in a quality function in a metals manufacturing
· A current ASNT Level II certification for UT, ET, and MT, and VT is a plus.
· Must have experience performing internal or external audits. Experience receiving audits is also acceptable.
· Must be able to operate software tools to document and communicate findings and solutions.
· Must show competence to communicate technical information to others verbally and in writing.
· Must have basic mathematical capabilities to understand and execute process and product parameter tolerances, measurement and testing device operation, and mathematical calculations required by API and ASTM standards.

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
