We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of various products and systems at customer locations, ensuring that all installations are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, physical ability, and excellent customer service skills.
- Experience driving a 26 ft box truck
- Experience with route driving and delivery services is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and Proficient in operating lift gate, loading docks, pallet jacks, and handheld dolly for moving heavy equipment
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina to handle moving tasks and work in various environments. MUST be equipped to physically lift and move up to 200 lbs. with assistance of moving straps
- Must know how to use handheld tools
- Must be promptly on time every day!
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug test & must have a good MVR
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of appliances to customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues during delivery.
- Load and unload appliances, utilizing proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and warehouse area.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline delivery processes and enhance efficiency.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies while on the road.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive delivery experience
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Experience with commercial driving and operating box trucks
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and moving logistics
- Competence in loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
