Yard Worker

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable Yard Worker to join our team.

The Yard Worker’s responsibilities will include maintaining the yard and its equipment, loading and unloading materials, and assisting with any other yard-related tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will be physically fit and able to undertake a variety of tasks in all weather conditions. A strong work ethic, good communication skills, and the ability to follow safety guidelines are all necessary for this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and cleaning the yard by removing trash, debris, and other waste materials
• Performing basic landscaping duties such as weeding
• Concrete block maintenance
• Assisting in the loading and unloading of trucks, and ensuring all materials are properly secured
• Operating equipment such as forklifts, tractors, and power tools safely and efficiently
• Inspecting and performing maintenance on yard equipment and tools
• Assisting in the organization and storage of yard materials and supplies
• Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
• Reporting any issues or damage in the yard to the supervisor immediately
• Performing minor repairs and construction tasks as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing appropriate protective gear.
• Assist with other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.35 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
