F&F Properties was founded in 2012 as a real estate development and investment firm that focuses on value-add opportunities in the San Diego multi-family space. We are looking for a full-time Resident Manager to oversee a 65-unit apartment community in East Clairemont.
How you will contribute:
In this role, you will grow as a key member of our team as you function as point person for the operations of the property. Your success is our success.
Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing their concerns, requests, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Foster a positive and welcoming living environment by building rapport with residents, organizing community events, and resolving conflicts as they arise.
Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance and repair needs.
Coordinate with maintenance staff, contractors, and external vendors to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.
Maintain organized records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Schedule and conduct property tours for leasing available units.
Work with the management team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract and retain residents.
Monitor and update property listings on various advertising platforms.
Collect rent and fees from residents in a timely manner, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with all financial policies.
Assist in creating and managing the property’s budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective operations.
Address delinquent accounts and work with residents to resolve payment issues.
Maintain accurate resident records, lease agreements, and other documentation through F&F management software and record retention applications.
Assist with resident move-ins and move-outs, conducting thorough inspections and handling security deposit returns.
Provide regular reports and updates to the property management team.
Implement and enforce property safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of residents and protection of the property.
Respond to emergencies, alarms, and security incidents as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in property management, apartment management, or a related role is required.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Intermediate to strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word)
Highly organized and detail oriented
Self-driven team player with a positive attitude
Proficiency in property management software such as AppFolio.
