What are the responsibilities and job description for the Courier - Per diem position at F F Thompson Hospital?
Employment Type: Part-Time
Hours Per Week: 8
Per Diem, Days, Evenings, and some Weekends
- Serves as a health system courier to pick up and deliver mail, linen, supplies, and lab specimens to and from off-site locations.
- Must demonstrate an ability to drive hospital-owned vans.
- Must be familiar with area roads, speed limits, and local transportation laws.
- The ability to adhere to delivery schedules is a must.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid NYS Drivers License with a clean driving record - Required
- Highly motivated, customer service oriented, self-starter, able to work independently.
- Able to possess sound decision-making skills.
- Be a creative and self-directed learner
- Knowledge of area county roads a plus
- Clean, neat appearance.
Pay Range: $16.00 -$17.50
Starting Pay: $16.00
