Performance Coach / Sales Coach - Residential Service Industry

The Performance Coach plays a vital role in building and maintaining positive relationships with our service technicians. This field-based position focuses on daily ride-a-longs with service technicians, sales coaching, and process improvement. The position involves presenting at meetings, attending weekly departmental meetings, conducting online documentation reviews, and utilizing various communication methods to inspire and influence the performance of our team.

Essential Functions

• Lead and mentor a team of service and sales professionals in the trades industry, including plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and electrical services
• Perform daily ride-a-longs with service technicians, emphasizing sales coaching and process improvement
• Research, organize, and enter essential performance data in support of the service divisions on a weekly basis
• Assist in the preparation and administration of various training programs
• Prepare and distribute training aids, including instructional material, videos, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids
• Responsible for the completion of technician curbside evaluation forms
• Provide constructive feedback to team members to enhance performance and productivity
• Provide reports to appropriate managers
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and teach in both a one on one and group settings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster positive relationships
• Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the trades industry
• Proficient with Internet and Integrated CRM Software, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Goal and detail-oriented
• Highly organized and a multi-tasker
• Excellent time management skills
• Clean Driving record with the flexibility to travel within Maryland
