Payroll Analyst – Excel & Data Wizard
F.H. Furr/Apex Atlantic South is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join our dynamic team! What You Will Do:
- Manage, analyze, and process payroll data across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Utilize advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, etc.) to streamline payroll reporting and reconciliation
- Maintain and audit payroll records, ensuring all employee data is up to date and compliant with company policies and applicable laws
- Work closely with HR, Accounting, and Operations to ensure seamless payroll processing
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time
- Prepare detailed payroll reports for leadership, tracking labor costs, overtime, bonuses, and other key metrics
- Assist in payroll system improvements and automation to enhance efficiency
What We Are Looking For:
- Excel guru – you live and breathe spreadsheets and know how to manipulate large data sets with ease
- Strong analytical skills – you love digging into numbers, finding patterns, and optimizing processes
- Experience in payroll processing, accounting, or financial analysis preferred
