Position Overview
Oversees all field operations at a project jobsite. Schedules, coordinates and oversees subcontractors and trade employee activities. Active participant in corporate safety and quality programs.
Assigned Responsibilities
- Directly responsible for day-to-day supervision of project site.
- Coordinates the planning and implementation of vertical concrete frame projects.
- Responsible for all staffing and hiring of tradesmen and foremen for all self-performed work on projects.
- Performs jobsite inspections/audits of shoring, rebar/pt installation, safety, and quality.
- Responsible for assisting the managing of project productivity, costs, quality and safety consistent with company policies and practices.
- Assists in managing assigned projects including working with local team to develop processes for delivering total concrete solutions.
- Develops and maintains customer relationships to enhance company’s ability to procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Development and coordination of material and equipment schedules and promotes their efficient use.
- Coordinates all subcontractor and vendor contracts and associated processes and procedures.
- Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.
- Responsible to implement, enforce and maintain corporate Safety, Quality, MWBE,
- EEO, production and other programs.
- Develops site specific safety plan and monitors compliance to help ensure project safety.
- Determines method of construction, manpower levels, material, and equipment utilized for self-performing work.
- Coordinate assigned work with trades, subcontractors and other contractors on-site.
- Assist with resolving construction problems (work interferences, trade productivity, interpretation of documents, etc…)
- Coordinates material deliveries.
- Maintain positive relationships with Owners, Subcontractors and Designers.
- Maintains project documentation to include JHA's, QC checklists, daily reports, material quantities, production, and jobsite photos.
- Manages progress photos thru Site Spec or other photo management tool.
- Prepares look ahead schedules.
- Schedule work to meet project completion dates.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced understanding of production methods, construction processes and supervision of people and projects.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Good communication, interpersonal, supervisory and planning skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office to include Outlook, Excel & Word
- Proficient in the use of mobile device smartphone and/or tablet
- Must demonstrate a proven ability to manage.
- Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, formwork systems, and all other components of vertical concrete construction
- Ability to manage and supervise large and diverse groups of people.
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- OSHA 30 certification required.
