What are the responsibilities and job description for the Park Attendant/Gate Attendant (Two-Person Team) position at F&I Foresight Initiatives?
We are seeking a responsible two-person team, both individuals at least 21 years of age, with no minor children, to serve as Park Attendants/Gate Attendants. Candidates must be physically and mentally capable of performing the required duties and maintaining a welcoming and organized environment for park visitors.
Key Responsibilities
The duties of the Park Attendants include, but are not limited to:
- Collecting use fees and managing campsite reservations.
- Operating a computer-based park management system (Recreation One Stop).
- Monitoring and maintaining the status of occupied sites.
- Providing visitor information and brochures.
- Posting and removing shelter reservations on bulletin boards.
- Ensuring proper use of park facilities and adherence to park regulations.
- Enforcing quiet hours to maintain a peaceful park environment.
- Performing light administrative tasks requiring basic computer skills.
Other Requirements
Additional duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Gatehouse and landscape maintenance.
- Assisting in the day-use area with parking issues.
- Inspecting group picnic areas.
- Documenting and maintaining lost and found items.
- Opening and closing entrance gates as needed.
- Reviewing firewood regulations with campers.
- Completing and retaining a copy of the cleaning campsite sheet.
Qualifications
- Both individuals must be at least 21 years old.
- No minor children may reside on-site.
- This position requires on-site RV living.
- Basic computer skills are required for managing reservations and administrative tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to assist park visitors.
- Ability to work outdoors and handle light physical tasks.
- Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to enforce park policies effectively.
- First Aid, CPR, and AED training must be completed and maintainedÂ
