Key Responsibilities
- Engaging Instruction: Teach and engage students using our dynamic graphic design curriculum.
- Hands-On Learning: Inspire and support students with practical, hands-on approaches as they progress through their coursework.
- Technical Skills: Educate students on elements and principles of graphic design and usage of Adobe Creative Cloud, as well as Figma.
- Creativity Focus: Encourage student creativity to achieve high-quality results in class graphic design projects.
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate on refining the curriculum and designing engaging lesson plans and projects within Canvas.
- Supportive Environment: Foster a safe, supportive, and dynamic learning atmosphere encouraging student growth.
- Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- 3 years of related experience OR education in a related field
- Experience Requirements:
- 3 years of field-related experience per state and accreditation requirements
- Software Proficiency:
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, InDesign) as well as Figma to enhance student learning.
- Graphic Design Techniques:
- Familiarity with elements and principles of graphic design to provide comprehensive instruction.
