POSITION SUMMARY:
Support key banking applications such as Director, Navigator, and other banking software applications. Provide Business Intelligence reporting as requested and identify process improvement opportunities. This position will also assist in supporting ATM and ITM infrastructure.
OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE:
- By serving as a liaison between the business stakeholders and implementation teams the technical Business Analyst plays an integral role in ensuring that technical solutions achieve business needs.
- Work closely and assist the Product Integration Manager with development and integration of system projects.
- Work as a liaison to assigned business units and technical experts to deliver software application enhancements to meet business needs.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure and design business intelligence reports.
- Utilize sales training skills to provide outstanding customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure quality control of business intelligence reports.
- System support, understand core systems, applications, and technical platforms.
- Perform data analysis to identify data quality issues.
- Project planning, facilitate project requirements as needed.
- Ensure the assigned application(s) and system(s) are reliable and work as expected.
- Administer and monitor application-level security.
- Perform system maintenance duties, including ensure the application is kept current with vendor releases, patches, and other requirements.
- Assist in implementation and support of ATM / ITM systems and projects.
- Stay informed of new system software / hardware upgrades, technology, and industry trends.
- Provide technical support regarding OnBase / Director.
- Coordinate upgrades and changes to software/systems/procedures.
- Comply and satisfactorily pass tests for bank policy and regulations that apply to position.
- Assist with process improvement efforts and ensure adoption of standard processes and procedures that deliver sustainable top quartile cost and performance levels.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, Business preferred or a business-related field with a minimum of two (2) years of ATM technical bank operations experience, technical help desk position or in an equivalent technical position.
- Must have computer and network experience; Network , Security or MSCE certifications a plus
- Experience with Fiserv’s Suite of applications a plus.
- Experience with IBM Cognos or similar report writing software.
- ATM/ITM repair and equipment maintenance experience preferred.
- Advance proficiency in financial institution technology operating environment and third-party products strongly preferred. Customer service experience preferred

COMPLIANCE:
- As generally applicable to F&M Bank and commensurate with these job functions, this job role includes accountabilities for following Bank policies and related procedures, as well as regulatory requirements involving federal and state laws, regulations, and related guidance.
- Compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), including accurate completion of Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) when applicable, Anti-Money Laundering Act (AML), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and the USA PATRIOT Act. Adhere to Customer Identification, Customer Due Diligence and reporting of suspicious activities to the BSA Department.
