Job Summary
F&M Construction and Remodeling is looking for a Drafter / Project Manager Assistant with strong drafting skills to support our residential and commercial construction projects. This role involves creating detailed construction drawings while also assisting the Project Manager in coordinating project activities.
Responsibilities :
Develop architectural and structural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
Create detailed construction plans, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.
Modify and update drawings based on client and project team requirements.
Coordinate with the project management team to ensure design feasibility.
Ensure compliance with building regulations and construction standards.
Conduct site visits and measurements to adjust drawings as needed.
Assist the Project Manager in tracking project timelines, budgets, and material orders.
Support communication between clients, vendors, and construction teams.
Requirements :
Experience in architectural and technical drafting for construction projects.
Previous experience in AutoCAD and Revit.
Knowledge of building codes and construction regulations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical specifications.
Organizational skills to assist with project coordination.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with different departments.
