What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Account Manager position at F&M Tool and Plastics?
The Sales Account Manager Manager will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships as well as developing new opportunities.
Position requirements
- Manage current customer accounts closely while also looking for new business opportunities.
- Work closely with Sales Leadership to effectively manage and grow existing customer accounts while also developing sales pipelines resulting in profitable business for the company.
- Drive the sales process within a direct manufacturing organization working closely with Sales Leadership and Customer Relations.
- Develop and present quotations within company guidelines for review with Sales Leadership
- Build, execute and maintain a market and product-specific account management and new opportunities plan
- Utilize or develop/modify existing high-end Sales presentations
- Develop, implement and monitor sales metrics across customer base
- Stay current with competitive products and technologies.
- Work closely with Sales/Marketing team to develop a full understanding of the customer and market dynamics and utilize this data to assist in gaining new business with existing customers as well as potential new opportunities.
Education and Experience
- Salary based on experience
- BS in Business, Marketing or a technical discipline or combined equivalent of education and experience
- Proven track record of successful, progressive sales/account management experience specifically managing/selling into large retailers.
- Prior experience selling in the consumer housewares space
- Prior knowledge of the plastics industry a plus
- High sense of urgency, hard-working, and result-driven, with an executive polish when it comes to oral and written communications
- Ability to build collaborative working relationships
- High level of competency with Microsoft Office Suite

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
