Position Title: Card Services Coordinator
Business Unit: Operations
Reports To: Supervisor of Card Services
Position Overview
This position is primarily responsible for coordinating and monitoring the workflow and providing assistance to Card Services staff. The incumbent assists the supervisor in maintaining updated department procedures and aids both the supervisor and manager in eliminating bank loss, risk and negative customer service by ensuring all processes within the area are handled according to Bank policy and government regulations and within time frames and/or standards established. The incumbent provides the highest quality of service to every customer, both internal and external.
Primary Responsibilities
Coordinates and monitors the daily workflow and projects assigned within the department, reassigns tasks and functions when lack of staffing or high volumes warrant and assists employees in performing their duties.
Assists the supervisor and manager by updating department procedures as changes occur and works with the supervisor and manager to identify and improve procedures and efficiencies.
Responsible for ensuring that proper and appropriate training is completed.
Maintains knowledge of all rules that govern Regulation E ATM/Debit Card Error Resolution and determines and recommends what modifications in procedures and processes are required to maintain compliance. Upon approval from the supervisor or manager, coordinates changes to procedures and assists with training the representatives.
Responds to and resolves complex and unusual inquiries or refers inquiries to the appropriate department or person and exhibits the necessary follow through with customers and staff.
Serves as a back-up to the supervisor in his or her absence and as needed.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
