Position Title: Corporate Fair Lending Officer
Business Unit: Compliance
Reports to: Director of Corporate Compliance
Position Overview
The Corporate Fair Lending Officer (CFLO) leads and executes F.N.B.'s Fair Lending Program. The CFLO maintains an effective Fair Lending Program; compliant with fair lending laws, rules and regulations, etc. The CFLO manages a team that performs fair lending monitoring of F.N.B. lending portfolios. The CFLO represents F.N.B. in regulatory exams and is an advisor to senior management on fair lending matters and partners with line of business managers and others to identify and correct potential fair lending issues. The CFLO leads efforts to define the Bank’s fair lending objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage a team of compliance specialists.
Identify, aggregate, report and escalate fair lending risks and issues, and related root causes to lines of business, leaders, and Board and Management committees.
Monitor regulatory and legal environment and participate in industry forums to identify areas of focus and conduct benchmarking.
Advise lines of business and control functions to ensure that regulatory requirements are addressed in their respective procedures and controls so that day to day activities operate in a compliant manner.
Develop and maintain enterprise and Compliance-team specific fair lending policies and procedures
Coordinate with lending areas and other Bank units to evaluate proposed business changes, including new or modified products or services, new or modified policies, procedures, processes or systems to ensure compliance with applicable fair lending laws, rules and regulations.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
