- Position Title: Loan Review Analyst

- Reports To: Manager of Loan Review
- Position Overview:
- This position is primarily responsible for reviewing non-complex loan relationships to evaluate the accuracy of loan risk ratings, to assess the financial condition of the borrower and guarantors and to determine compliance with lending policies and procedures.
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluates credit worthiness on loans assigned by the Manager of Loan Review to verify accuracy of Loan Risk Ratings by reviewing financial statements of borrowers and guarantors and independently determining the strength of repayment sources. Reviews file to determine adequacy of credit monitoring, credit analysis, new loan underwriting and handling of problems loans.
- Completes automated linesheets addressing support for risk rating and identifying weaknesses and negative trends that warrant correction.
- Verifies compliance with laws and regulations issued by governing agencies.
- Performs various duties and responsibilities, as assigned, including assisting with policy manual updates and various lender training such as compliance, insurance or policies, maintaining file logs for files received and sent during loan review and researching and completing monthly and quarterly asset quality and risk management graphs and reports.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
