Key Responsibilities:
- Identify prospective customers that lead to additional sales
- Schedule and perform product education and training with new and existing customers
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers
- Attend industry trade shows
- Follow industry trends to identify sales opportunities and markets
- Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
- Adhere to all safety standards
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience. Agriculture background preferred but not required
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Extensive travel will be required in a large territory, including overnights
- Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska and Wisconsin
Compensation:
The base salary for this position will be $50,000 annually with the ability to earn additional compensation through an UNLIMITED growth based commission program.
