About The Role :

We are seeking an Outbound Showroom Sales Specialist to join our NYC Team. Generating, qualifying, and closing new leads. Developing effective outbound calling scripts. Making cold calls and presenting a sales pitch. This role will play a critical role in increasing sales and sales opportunities for our Tri-State Regional Sales Team and will have a variety of business-generating responsibilities, including :

Showroom Sales Assistant Job Responsibilities :

  • High volume of sales phone calls (60 - 80 calls per day) to ensure we are in touch with our full community of valued clients.
  • Daily outreach (phone calls, etc) to clients to generate sales funnel momentum for the Tri-State Regional sales team.
  • Daily sales outreach to prospective clients to generate new business.
  • Build an effective sales outreach strategy to ensure client outreach is effective and impactful.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to keep Schumacher top of mind.
  • Establish a rapport with potential customers to build trust and foster long-term business relationships.
  • Communicate and collaborate daily with sales team partners to identify opportunities for client follow-up and sales conversion within each sales territory.
  • Real-time ideation, communication, and collaboration to determine where to focus efforts that will most effectively impact and build sales funnel momentum.
  • Navigate Schumacher's internal sales platforms expertly and ensure that sales activity (outreach, calls, leads, etc) are logged efficiently and accurately.
  • Review and interpret sales funnel data to identify Regional and Territory sales opportunities and insights that will lead to Sales.
  • Outbound Showroom Sales Specialist Job Requirements :

  • 1-2 years of experience working in a retail or showroom environment
  • The ability to multitask and be proactive in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills
  • Excited and eager to speak to clients throughout the day and displays exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous, has a plan each day, and manages time well.
  • Identifies opportunities to successfully drive business, brings creative thinking, and has an adaptable approach.
  • Navigates obstacles with renewed spirit and desire to succeed.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve success.
  • A team player who strives to achieve the Tri-State Region's collective goal.
  • Passionate about the textile industry and the Schumacher brand and eager to continue building industry and company knowledge to best serve our clients.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
  • Proficiency in MS Windows and Office suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
