Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Graphic Designer who is a versatile creative professional with a passion for design and the ability to execute across a wide range of projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven environment, excels at project management, and is eager to take on responsibilities that include both event design and digital content creation. In addition to working on event materials, you will also contribute to the creation of newsletters and social media posts, ensuring our brand is represented consistently across all platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior graphic designers, event planners, and the creative director to develop and execute innovative design concepts.
• Design event-related materials, including invitations, logos, menus, packaging, escort cards, and other paper products necessary for event design.
• Create design concepts for large-format graphics, such as dance floors, bar applications, wall graphics, and more.
• Ensure design layouts meet technical specifications, including bleed, trim, resolution, color space, and proper file management.
• Build and maintain print-ready files for prepress production and ensure smooth handoff to production teams.
• Manage production deadlines with a keen sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail.
• Set clear deadlines, manage project timelines, and follow up on progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Design and create content for newsletters, ensuring design consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Create visually engaging social media posts and graphics to enhance brand presence across various platforms.
• Contribute to a positive and efficient working environment, supporting team collaboration and proactive problem-solving.
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced, creative space while maintaining high-quality output.
• Work across departmental divisions, integrating and collaborating with various teams to meet project goals.
• Demonstrate creativity, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Display clear and confident expertise in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
• Begin by handling sub-projects assigned by the Senior Graphic Designer, with the goal of taking the lead on managing design projects for 8 clients within 6 months (or sooner based on performance).

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in graphic design, showcasing a portfolio with diverse and creative work, including event materials and digital content.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
• Experience designing for newsletters and social media platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership potential with a proactive, results-driven approach to design.
