Inventory Control / Purchasing Associate

F.W. Webb, Northeast’s largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking an Inventory Control / Purchasing Associate Nashua NH location.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain inventory cycle count and physical inventory of the facility
• Perform continuous physical cycle counts, stock checks, and manual stock relocation daily
• Researches and resolves all inventory discrepancies
• Trace history of items to determine root cause of discrepancies
• Compile, verify, and report periodic statistical information to management
• Ensure compliance to inventory processes and procedures
• Forwards available inventory items by verifying stock; scheduling delivery.
• Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price
• Obtains purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders
• Experienced in working with WMS system as well as Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications:

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills highly preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills preferred
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work under pressure and rapidly changing priorities
• Must possess a high level of customer service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
