Department Title: Undergrad Intern – Portfolio Management - National Investments Team
Location: The intern candidate must be able to commute into the New York City office each week.

Our team is responsible for the management and investments of client portfolios according to their asset allocation and investment strategies. This involves research, trading, reporting, portfolio analysis and provides for a broad understanding of various asset classes, investment strategies and investment vehicles as well as key aspects of the wealth management business.
Joining us this summer means increasing your knowledge of broad investment offerings across multi-asset class portfolios, including alternatives and 3rd Party Investment Managers. The Portfolio Management team is instrumental to the success of client goals by focusing on Investments as well as client relationships.
Team Culture:
The Portfolio Management teams work across various asset classes and investment vehicles, allowing for a broad scope of learning and development. Our team collaborates with Investment Strategy, Asset Allocation, Research, Asset Class Teams, and others.
A Portfolio Management – National Investments Team Intern can expect to gain:
- An understanding of building a portfolio to meet client objectives.
- Knowledge on the components of an Investment Policy Statement and how they come together.
- An understanding of how trust and tax implications impact portfolio construction and investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Partnering with key stakeholders across investment disciplines on creating and sharing best practices across the organization by understanding, assessing and improving internal communications and business processes,
- Supporting the Investment teams focusing on research and reporting projects.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Finance background
- Strong organizational/communication skills
- Experience with MS Office, specifically excel and PowerPoint.

Compensation Range: This is a full-time internship where students will work approximately 35 hours per week and earn competitive hourly pay of $31 USD per hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
