Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities will include assisting with acquisitions and asset management duties including modeling, portfolio analysis and reporting, property valuation analysis, lease analysis and special projects with a primary focus on the Housing sector.

  • Assist in the prep and presentation of Preliminary and Final Investment Memoranda to the firm's Investment Committee.
  • Assist with underwriting new investment opportunities.
  • Participate in acquisitions and asset management due diligence.
  • Review annual operating budgets and assist in annual business plan preparation and presentation.
  • Assist with acquisition, development, and disposition transactions.
  • Monitor and analyze the financial performance of the properties and portfolios.
  • Maintain portfolio models.
  • Assist with preparation and review of portfolio level and client reports.
  • Maintain property valuation files.
  • Analyze lease transactions.
  • Prepare and update portfolio-level reports.
  • Assist with property management related functions.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports when needed.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team that includes the disciplines of finance, research, acquisitions, asset management and marketing.
  • Strong skills in financial analysis and modeling – proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and complete projects with minimal supervision.
  • 2 years’ experience, preferably in real estate Asset Management.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in real estate or finance.
