What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fund Sales (RIA channels) position at F2 Finance?
We are a boutique emerging fund manager. Our flagship Faes & Co Income Fund is focused on real estate lending. We have a niche strategy where we originate and fund real estate bridging loans, aiming to provide investors with a consistent, stable, asset-backed return.
The Fund launched in 2023, and we have good momentum with the Fund's sales. We are looking for someone to join our highly motivated team to help drive sales specifically through the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and wealth manager channels. The Fund is available to investors direct, but also through Charles Schwab and a number of IRA custodian platforms.
We are looking for a self-motivated, entrepreneurial and experienced fund salesperson to help drive the sales efforts for our Fund. You would be expected to gain a deep understanding of our market and the Fund's strategy, and to be able to build relationships and convert them to meaningful investment channels for our firm.
Our firm's principal has previously built large funds platforms in different geographies (with companies managing over $5 billion), and our small team is made up of experienced fund operators.
Generally, our company’s culture will see you have:
- a willingness to work hard and a ‘can do’ attitude
- the ability to build relationships and have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- the ability to work autonomously and to prioritize tasks accordingly
- a willingness to ‘get involved’ with the business and provide help and assistance as required
- experience using the latest cloud-based business efficiency platforms such as Google Business Apps, and Slack etc
- experience with Hubspot as a CRM, would be a big advantage
The ideal candidate will have:
- at least 3 years working in fund sales, specifically working with RIAs and wealth managers, in a relevant product to ours
- a strong working knowledge of the alternative investment landscape.
- 401(k) with employer contribution
- 10 days paid holiday
- competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus commission
- medical insurance
- parking in our building
- endless snacks, good coffee, weekly office lunches, and a great work environment
