What are the responsibilities and job description for the Claims Manager position at F2F Transport?
F2F Transport LLC is seeking an experienced Claims Manager to lead the charge on all claims operations, including cargo, liability, and accident claims across our growing fleet. You’ll develop strategy, collaborate across departments, and ensure that claims are managed efficiently, fairly, and in alignment with our values and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee all aspects of claims management—cargo, auto liability, bodily injury, property damage, and workers’ compensation.
- Develop and continuously improve claims policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure efficient, compliant handling of all incidents.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments, insurance providers, third-party adjusters, attorneys, and external partners.
- Analyze claims data to identify trends, loss drivers, and opportunities for improvement; partner with Safety and Operations to proactively reduce risk.
- Oversee the timely and accurate reserving of claims, subrogation efforts, and litigation support.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and OSHA as it relates to claims and incident reporting.
- Lead post-incident reviews and assist in continuous improvement efforts across the company.
Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of trucking claims processes, insurance coverage, and federal transportation regulations (FMCSA/DOT).
- Tech-savvy with experience using claims management systems and transportation technologies (TMS, ELD platforms, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
