We are looking for a Desktop Support Technician who can commit to a 4-6 month project in Bakersfield, California. Minimum of 1 year of ONSITE experience in Desktop Imaging & Deployment, Troubleshooting, Configuration and responding to Help Desk Tickets is required. The schedule is M-F from 8am-5pm. Weekly pay.

  • Responsibilities :
  • Conduct basic to moderately complex troubleshooting and repair tasks for various end-user devices.
  • Provide dedicated support to client VIPs.
  • Respond to change management requests by installing new PC equipment, offering desk-side support, and performing related tasks.
  • Execute Install / Move / Add / Change (IMAC) activities as required.
  • Carry out all assigned desk-side support duties.
  • Maintain high standards of technical and professional service.
  • Achieve established customer service satisfaction levels and meet operational metrics as specified in guidelines.
  • Communicate proactively with end-users and service desk personnel regarding arrival times, repair estimates, and status updates.
  • Adhere to all documented service operations policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties or acquire additional certifications as needed to support business requirements.
  • Skills :
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Requires a minimum of 3 years of solid IT / Desktop Support experience
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in end-user support, desktop imaging, and responding to help desk tickets.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and hardware systems.
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Must possess a basic repair kit.
