Desktop Support Technician
Shift : 12 : 30 PM – 9 : 30 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Location : Onsite
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support in an enterprise environment. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various end-user computing devices, including PCs, desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently while ensuring a seamless IT experience for end users.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues on end-user devices.
- Provide desk-side support to users, including executives and VIPs.
- Handle installations, moves, additions, and changes (IMAC) for IT equipment.
- Configure and set up new devices per change management requests.
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards and ensure efficient issue resolution.
- Communicate proactively with end-users and service desk personnel regarding repair status.
- Follow ITIL methodologies and service operations policies to ensure best practices.
- Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and equipment inventory.
- Other duties or certifications may be assigned based on business needs.
