Job Summary :
We are seeking a Field Support Services Technician to provide on-site IT support for retail stores, ensuring the smooth operation of POS systems, payment processing devices, networking equipment, and security systems. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various retail and office technologies while adhering to service level agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate is a self-motivated problem solver with strong technical expertise and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
Retail IT Equipment Support :
- Troubleshoot and repair Point of Sale (POS) systems, receipt printers, scanners, cash drawers, and PIN pads.
- Support payment processing devices (credit card terminals, mobile payment systems, etc.).
- Maintain and configure networking equipment (routers, switches, WiFi access points, modems).
- Assist with security systems (CCTV cameras, alarm systems, anti-theft tags, etc.).
- Provide support for back-office IT equipment such as PCs, printers, and backup systems.
