Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and mentor a team of 6–12 field technicians, ensuring quality, timeliness, and professionalism
- Oversee technician scheduling, task assignments, and resource allocation
- Serve as the primary escalation point for technical field issues and provide hands-on support when needed
- Conduct onboarding, training, and performance monitoring of field team members
- Coordinate and execute IT field services projects, including hardware rollouts, installations, and site readiness
- Collaborate with internal teams, logistics, and vendors to ensure smooth project delivery
- Monitor project timelines and milestone completion; provide regular updates to leadership
- Travel to client sites as required to support deployments or team oversight
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and, when needed, high-level executives
- Identify and mitigate risks that may affect project timelines or deliverables
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and client requirements
- 5 years of experience as a field or hardware technician, with demonstrated growth into a lead or supervisor role
- Strong understanding of hardware deployment, troubleshooting, and onsite IT support
- 2 years of team lead or project coordination experience, ideally in field operations or IT services
- Experience managing technician schedules, field documentation, and inventory/logistics coordination
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to escalate and resolve issues effectively
- Comfortable interacting with internal stakeholders, vendors, and executive-level contacts
- Experience working with ticketing or project tracking tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
- Technical certifications (CompTIA A , Network , etc.)
- Familiarity with reporting and performance metrics
- Prior experience in highly regulated or enterprise environments
