Job Description
We are looking for a Desktop Support Technician who can commit to a 4-6 month project in Lufkin, Texas. Techs must be willing to drive to other jobsites including St. Augustine and Livingston(mileage paid). Minimum of 3 years of ONSITE experience in Desktop Imaging & Deployment, Troubleshooting, Configuration and responding to Help Desk Tickets is required. The schedule is M-F from 8am-5pm. Weekly pay.
- Responsibilities :
- Conduct basic to moderately complex troubleshooting and repair tasks for various end-user devices.
- Provide dedicated support to client VIPs.
- Respond to change management requests by installing new PC equipment, offering desk-side support, and performing related tasks.
- Execute Install / Move / Add / Change (IMAC) activities as required.
- Carry out all assigned desk-side support duties.
- Maintain high standards of technical and professional service.
- Achieve established customer service satisfaction levels and meet operational metrics as specified in guidelines.
- Communicate proactively with end-users and service desk personnel regarding arrival times, repair estimates, and status updates.
- Adhere to all documented service operations policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties or acquire additional certifications as needed to support business requirements.
- Skills :
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
- Requires a minimum of 3 years of solid IT / Desktop Support experience
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in end-user support, desktop imaging, and responding to help desk tickets.
- Familiarity with relevant software and hardware systems.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Must possess a basic repair kit.
