F5, Inc. seeks Director of Product Management in San Jose, CA:
Job Duties: Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for F5's Bot Defense and Risk Management product portfolio based on user discovery, data analysis, stakeholder discussions, and industry trends. Secure alignment on product vision with senior stakeholders, including C-Suite, and manage expectations through consistent communication. Lead and mentor a team of product managers, ensuring they have clear goals, priorities, and resources to execute product plans. Oversee the entire product lifecycle, making informed decisions at each stage, and collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements. Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and market trends influencing product decisions. Clearly articulate customer problems, needs, solution descriptions, and feature requirements. Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with short-term and long-term goals, considering market dynamics and customer feedback. Collect, analyze, and synthesize insights from customer feedback to drive decisions and identify new opportunities for impact. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure successful product development and launch. Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges in product development and delivery. Define and execute go-to-market strategies, encompassing product positioning, pricing, and communication plans. Manage product budgets, forecasting, and financial performance in alignment with company goals. Lead creation of business cases for initiatives, outlining quantifiable outcomes, return on investment, and success metrics. Collaborate with broader product management team to prioritize initiatives across workstreams.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) TCP/IP; (2) HTTP; (3) HTML; (4) Client Server architecture; (5) SAML (Single Sign On); (6) Data Networking; (7) SSL/TLS; (8) CDN (Content Delivery Network); (9) DNS (Domain Name System); (10) Java or Python; (11) Data Analytics; (12) Tableau. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Skills can be gained through academic coursework, scholastic achievement, or professional experience.
Salary: $259,830.05 - $330,460.00 per annum.
