We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, systems, and facilities to ensure optimal functionality and safety. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Repair and replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and increase equipment efficiency.
- Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to address maintenance needs and improve processes.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical certification in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
- Experience with Bliss, Minster, Niagara and 110-ton Rousselle press, Trumpf TruPunch and Trumpf TruBend preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
