Drafter/Designer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed schematics and technical drawings that support various engineering projects. This role requires proficiency in industry-standard software and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in designs. The Drafter will collaborate with engineers to bring concepts to life through precise documentation.

Duties

• Develop and prepare detailed drawings and schematics using CAD software, including AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Create 3D models and visualizations.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications, reports, and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all drafting work.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers or clients to meet project goals.
• Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and related documents.

Experience

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor) is important.
• Familiarity with mechanical design principles and practices.
• Experience in creating schematics for various engineering disciplines.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling tools is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.92 - $25.51 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
