What you bring to the table:
- Experience with ERP and supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and vendor performance metrics.
- Familiarity with just in time manufacturing and high turnover, high volume inventory.
- Ability to analyze large data sets and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
What to expect from the role:
You will be providing analytics in the following areas:
Production Material Availability Analysis
Supplier KPI Reporting
Critical Commodity Forecasting
Data Management and Reporting
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
A few specific tasks would include but are not limited to:
- Identifying and reporting on any potential material shortages or disruptions in supply to our internal customers
- You will track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers, including lead times, quality metrics, and on-time delivery.
- Conduct demand forecasting for critical commodities, ensuring that the necessary materials are procured in advance of production requirements.
- Work with the procurement team to ensure forecasted material requirements are aligned with both production schedules and supplier capacity.
