Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies

Job Description
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed components.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Essential Functions
- Study, read, and understand drawings
- Assembling parts
- Set up your work station
- To preform regular tests and inspect parts to ensure the product is in accordance with the specifications

- Good hand eye coordination
- Able to lift heavy boxes
- Ability to read drawings
- Follow instructions
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
The work environment can be loud and fast moving in getting parts out the door.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM or 7:00am-3:30pm. The employee may be asked to work more than 40 hours a week if the need arises.

Required Education and Experience
A high school diploma or a general educational diploma is sufficient for an entry level position in the manufacturing units, which require them to join and attach small parts or items.
