Job Summary:
We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive the success of our industrial automation product portfolio for pneumatic components. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans, analyzing the current product portfolio, positioning products effectively in the market, and supporting sales with impactful messaging and content. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of industrial products, market trends, and customer needs, translating technical features into compelling value propositions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market & Competitive Analysis
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
Analyze the company’s product portfolio and market demand to guide portfolio strategy and pricing decisions.
Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements.
2. Product Positioning & Messaging
Develop clear, compelling value propositions for industrial products tailored to target markets.
Create technical and marketing content, including product brochures, case studies, whitepapers, and presentations.
Work closely with engineering and product management to translate technical features into customer benefits.
3. Go-to-Market Strategy & Launch Management
Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new and existing products.
Plan and lead product launches, ensuring alignment across sales, marketing, and distribution teams.
Train sales teams on product positioning, competitive advantages, and key messaging.
4. Sales Enablement & Customer Engagement
Provide marketing support to the sales team by creating sales tools & trainings, presentations, and customer engagement strategies. Develop and maintain pricing models, product comparisons, and ROI calculators.
Conduct customer interviews and gather feedback to refine product messaging and offerings.
5. Digital Marketing & Lead Generation
Collaborate with the digital marketing team to create targeted campaigns, website content, and SEO strategies.
Utilize email marketing, social media, and trade publications to drive product awareness and engagement.
Track campaign performance and adjust strategies based on analytics.
6. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with R&D, engineering, sales, and operations to align marketing strategies with product development.
Collaborate with distributors, partners, and channel managers to optimize market reach.
Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
5 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or technical marketing in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of B2B marketing, manufacturing processes, and industrial technologies.
Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and pricing strategies.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer-friendly messaging.
Proficiency in CRM tools, digital marketing platforms, and data analytics.
Ability to travel as needed (approx. 10% travel for trade shows, customer visits, and internal meetings).
