Description
Job Summary
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining inventory levels to ensure operational efficiency and the timely fulfillment of customer orders. This role will collaborate with purchasing, production, and logistics teams to support the seamless flow of materials and products.
Duties and responsibilities
- Heavy involvement in all aspects of Inventory
- Validate all inbound material for Qty accuracy, prior to Receiving/Posting
- Coordinate, Process and Receive all branch transfers
- Investigate and reconcile all inventory Negative Values and incorrect valuations
- Enter RGA and RMA requests for approval & posting
- Enter Inventory Adjustments for approval & posting
- Perform Daily/Weekly branch Cycle Counts
- Prepare branch for annual Inventory Audit
- Validate and Maintain all Bin Locations at branch
- Performs related job duties as required

Working conditions
- The role is performed in a warehouse and industrial setting.
- Regular exposure to varying temperatures, including extreme heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
- Noise levels may be moderate to high, depending on production activity.
- Occasional exposure to dust, debris, and other materials typical in a manufacturing environment.
Physical requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb for extended periods.
- Regularly lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools (training and certification will be provided if needed).
- Perform repetitive motions, including reaching overhead and using hands to handle objects.
- Maintain a focus on safety while working in close proximity to heavy machinery and equipment.
