      Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Assessment:

   • Analyze project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine the scope of work.
   • Identify the type, size, and amount of rebar needed for the project.

2. Material Takeoffs:

   • Perform detailed material takeoffs to calculate the quantities of rebar required.
   • Use specialized software (e.g., Bluebeam, Tekla, or RebarCAD) to assist with accurate calculations.

3. Cost Estimation:

   • Develop cost estimates, including material, labor, fabrication, and transportation costs.
   • Factor in variables like market rates, waste allowances, and project-specific conditions.

4. Bid Preparation:

   • Prepare and submit bids to contractors, clients, or project managers.
   • Ensure bids are competitive and account for potential risks or changes in scope.

5. Coordination with Stakeholders:

   • Collaborate with general contractors, engineers, project managers, and suppliers to clarify requirements and resolve discrepancies.
   • Address design issues or changes that impact rebar needs and costs.

6. Market Research:

   • Stay updated on the latest material costs, market trends, and construction techniques.
   • Evaluate supplier and vendor pricing to ensure competitive sourcing.

7. Risk Management:

Qualifications

Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
