What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Field Superintendent position at Fabcon Precast?
Purpose / Scope :
This position will be a developmental opportunity for future Field Superintendents of which the necessary training and experience to fill a Field Superintendent position through mentoring and practical experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist Field Superintendent with daily activities including, but not limited to, crew scheduling, ordering of equipment, field planning (SAP plans, rigging plans, etc.)
- Inspect project site prior to delivery / scheduling of crews to ensure site readiness
- Assist Field Superintendent and Project Manager in Managing safe execution of job completion within 10 & Out goals
- Attend project site meetings as necessary
- Attend weekly scheduling meetings
- Provide feedback to Field Superintendent and Project Manager on current status of project and completion date
- Supervise field crews to ensure safe work environment and execution of project
- Assist with Superintendent, Project Manager, and Foremen in the pre-planning of projects
- Commitment to safety policies that establish a culture of a safe work environment, customer satisfaction, first time quality, and efficiency
- Self-motivated and flexible within work environment
- Other projects and duties as assigned
