Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
- Prepare food items according to Jimmy John's standards, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining areas.
- Operate cash registers efficiently, handling transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for customers.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus.
- Basic math skills for cash register operations and retail math tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Willingness to learn new operations.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
