Responsibilities
- Scheduling: Schedule service appointments using dispatch software to ensure that technicians are assigned to jobs efficiently.
- Communication: Respond to customer inquiries regarding service matters and communicate with technicians for updates on job assignments.
- Tracking: Utilize computer systems to track parts and labor information to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Parts Management: Order parts as needed for special orders and work directly with technicians to manage parts used and returned to ensure warehouse resupply and stock levels are adequate.
- Customer Service: Maintain consistent contact with customers to keep them informed about job status and provide excellent customer service.
- Tech Support: Ensure technicians have access to functioning technology and report any malfunctions to the IT department.
- Team Support: Assist the Service Coordinator with other tasks as necessary and collaborate with the team to achieve common goals.
- Cost Estimation: Calculate job cost estimations for customers to ensure accurate pricing and billing.
Requirements
- Basic math skills.
- Basic understanding of entry-level computer software.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Accounting, banking, customer service, or management experience preferred but not required.
- Motivated and organized.
- Familiarity with digital filing programs.
- Experience with Excel and Outlook or similar programs.
- Experience with General Assistance program.
