What are the responsibilities and job description for the Car Sales Consultant for Luxury Vehicles position at Fabre Group?
The Sales Representative will sell New Infiniti vehicles, New Acura vehicles, and Used Vehicles offered by Infiniti of Lafayette and Acura of Lafayette to current and new clientele.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
- Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their needs and wants; identifies and suggests the vehicle to meet those needs.
- Demonstrates the functions and utility of the vehicle to customers based on their needs and wants.
- Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
- Maintains communication with existing and previous customers.
- Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, sales, lost business, and any customer relationship problems.
- Keeps up to date with all required training.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of all vehicles and their features. (Training provided)
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships with clients.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Must have a valid LA driver’s license with a decent driving record.
Education and Experience:
- High School graduate or higher education.
- Three years of related experience preferred by not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods of walking/standing.
