Part-Time Retail Associate

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will engage with customers, assist them with their needs, and promote our products effectively. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for retail.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner.
• Assist customers with fabric choices informing them if a fit for the project.
• Manage cash register operations, including processing transactions accurately.
• Maintain an organized and well arranged fabric racks and products
• Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and product availability.
• Must be familiar with sewing and ability to measure accurately and estimate yardages needed accurately, as well as foam replacement
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
• Working 6 to 24 hours per week, alternating Saturdays. There are NO benefits with the position. Retirees or students are welcome to apply.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills is essential.
• Strong phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• A passion for helping customers and promoting products effectively is highly valued.
