Outreach Manager – North Carolina Durham-Raleigh
Fabric Health is hiring an Outreach Manager to lead our North Carolina team of Outreach Specialists. This role combines leadership, team management, and hands-on community outreach in laundromats. You’ll play a vital part in helping families access the healthcare and benefits they need while shaping our processes and operations in the field. This is Fabric Health’s first hire in North Carolina, and the Outreach Manager will play a key role in establishing our presence during this expansion by supporting contracts and partnerships with Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) and representing Fabric Health professionally in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Develop the Team: Manage a team of Outreach Specialists by providing coaching, setting goals, and ensuring high performance.
- On-the-Ground Outreach: Spend time weekly in laundromats to assist families with accessing public benefits (e.g., Medicaid, FNS, SNAP) and healthcare navigation.
- Operational Oversight: Manage team schedules, approve time-off requests, oversee inventory, and handle administrative tasks.
- Hiring & Training: Interview, onboard, and develop new team members to ensure a high-performing team.
- Partnerships & Events: Build relationships with laundromat partners and coordinate events like Free Washes to engage the community.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in outreach, customer service, or case management.
- Proven ability to manage small teams.
- Comfortable working in-person at laundromats and available on weekends.
- Reliable transportation across the Raleigh-Durham area.
Nice to Have
- Experience with high-needs populations or public benefits systems.
- Spanish fluency is a plus.
