What are the responsibilities and job description for the Route Delivery Driver position at Fabricators Unlimited?
Hours: Between 40-50/week, 2 overnights
Essential Functions
- Comply with DOT and Fabricators Regulations
- Keep a daily drivers log
- Verify incoming/outgoing loads
- Review each load for proper security prior to each truck departure
- Handle Company material with care
- Communicate with customers
- Assist loading and unloading trucks
- Pre-trip vehicle inspections, and any light maintenance needed on vehicle
- Follow up with any mechanical work needed on vehicle
- complying with transportation safety regulations
Requirements
- Valid Drivers License (Class B, CDL)
- Insurable driving record
- Health Card- will be set to get one if you don’t already have one
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs
- Ability to communicate with customers
