Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our workshop. We are seeking a candidate who has strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of various fabrication processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop personnel to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Manage the operation of heavy equipment and power tools, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Complete regular machine maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain inventory of materials and supplies necessary for ongoing projects.
Skills
- Experience with heavy equipment operation.
- Strong knowledge of cabinet and countertop industry.
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation.
