Summary:
Work in 2 primary positions: Store Clerk and Warehouse Worker. Providing exceptional customer service while maintaining store inventory and process orders and paperwork through the warehouse by performing various job functions in an effective and efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle all store functions: opening, closing register, & Accounting paperwork
- Communicate with customers to determine their needs and provide appropriate service
- Pull selected rolls of fabric/trim and cut specified yardage for customers
- Receive products into store inventory
- Arrange and stock products
- Work with Inventory Control to maintain store inventory
- Prepare daily reports for Accounting
- Inspect and cut fabric for customer and sampling orders
- Sort and distribute daily parcels and mail
- Pull orders
- Pack orders for shipping
- Ship orders
- Pull and stock case storage
- Prepare and check-in shipments for Tulsa truck
- Input data on computer
- Unload, inspect, & sign for incoming freight
- Break down cases and identify new freight
- Operate various forklifts
- Follow order priority procedures
- Display good safety and housekeeping practices
- Implement corporate policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Keep work area clean
- Job duties are subject to change as directed by management
- Non-essential duties and responsibilities for purposes of ADA
- Knowledge of Square helpful
- Knowledge of fabric preferred
- High school education or equivalent
- Must have good reading and basic math skills
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs continually
- Forklift certification
- Well organized
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Display reasoning ability and independent judgment
