What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Assembler (level 1-2) position at Fabrinet West?
PURPOSE :
Assemble PCB parts, pieces and / or products using a variety of tools equipment according to required specifications, processes, and procedures in an area of production in a manufacturing environment. Ensure that all parts fit correctly and are suitable for final product
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES / DUTIES :
Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials, Position parts and subassemblies by following assembly instructions and drawings, Assembles components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies, Verifies specifications by measuring completed conveyor sections, Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; reporting malfunctions, Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, Provide on-the-job training for new employees when appropriate, Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and Other duties as assigned
