Job Purpose :
The Program Manager will plan and implement different strategies in order to cultivate and capture new business opportunities markets that enable the company to exceed revenue and profit expectations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in this market and provide key insights to the cross-functional executive management team.
Key Responsibilities :
The Program Manager will :
1. Leverage extensive industry relationships to promote the company services into the market
2. Architect and communicate sales strategy for these markets
3. Analyze and understand customer strategies, future product plans, and expansion activities to develop penetration strategies for new business opportunities
4. Expertly cultivate customer relationships, develop & deliver effective proposals, and negotiate contracts to capture profitable new business
5. Effectively brief and leverage senior executives on strategy and tactics to enhance customer relationships and consummate deals
6. Establish, communicate, and hold direct and matrix team accountable for proposal objectives and deliverable to maximize operating profit and revenue growth
7. Successfully negotiate difficult and / or critical business matters, through interaction with senior executives both internal and external
8. Represent and provide market exposure for the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
9. Work with corporate marketing to identify suitable communication channels to best engage potential customers
Job Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
Experience : 10 years of progressive experience in sales / business development roles and have experience in the EMS industry
Required :
1. Extensive experience in sales, required
2. Knowledge of program management, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations functions, and strong financial acumen
3. Dynamic builder of relationships with customers, with track record of identifying new areas of opportunity and negotiating complex business deals for mutual benefit
4. Track record in high-eight to nine-figure sales to large multi-national customers
5. Well versed in all MS Office applications.
6. Be able to travel
