Job Overview:
A locally owned manufacturing facility with a print division is currently recruiting for a Mark Andy Press Operator to join the production team at our West Knoxville, TN facility.
Responsibilities:
· Operate presses to fabricate products according to specifications.
· Perform quality control checks on products before, during and after production run.
· Conduct prepress activities.
· Manage color management systems to ensure accurate and consistent color reproduction.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the printing process, ensuring timely and cost-effective production.
· Manage die cutting system to ensure accurate and consistent cutting.
· Conduct regular inspections of the press and surrounding equipment to identify and address potential safety hazards.
· Participate in training and continuous improvement programs to stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices in the industry.
Skills:
· Experience with printing press operation and fabricating products.
· Proficiency with measuring tools.
· Knowledge of color management systems and their application in printing.
· Ability to safely operate a die and roll lift.
· Strong understanding of quality control principles and their application in a production environment.
· Familiarity with prepress activities.
· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet production deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
