Description
JOB PURPOSE
This position sets up fabric and cuts layers of fabric into parts for window and bed treatments in order to fulfill customer orders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Selects fabric as per work order and inspect in order to deliver the best quality products to our customers.
• Determines layout to optimize fabric yield and minimize waste.
• Able to accurately measure, mark, and cut fabrics based on order information given by using a rotary knife/fabric shears.
• Prepare and fold fabric for production purposes.
• Able to read and apply ticket information.
• Review daily production schedules for changes and complete jobs by the established due date.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Climate controlled building. High levels of noise/ heat may occur.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
This position has direct supervision during the course of each day.

• Excellent hand/eye coordination to uphold company safety practices.
• Ability to make accurate measurements and calculate numbers
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for working hours
• Lifting, bending, twisting.
• Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs.
• Work independently in unison with team goals.
Salary : $12 - $14
